Combining the highest-quality grapes with the best production methods, Conte Lemár is a blend of Cannonau and Vermentino grapes.

We ensure the quality of Conte Lemár by:

  • carefully selecting the vineyards
  • harvesting the grapes early in the morning, when temperatures are low
  • storing them in cooled containers
  • handpicking them on the selection table
  • using dry ice during pressing
  • performing “bâtonnage” during fermentation

For the first time, all the desirable characteristics of the top southern French rosé wines have been combined in an Italian rosé.

Conte Lemár is complex, with a distinctive freshness. The rich, silky texture of Conte Lemár makes it the perfect, balanced rosé for everyday enjoyment, as well as an excellent accompaniment for those special moments. And it pairs perfectly with food.

Pale peach-pink in color. A blend of Grenache and Vermentino, it delivers delicate aromas of spring flowers on the nose and a combination of ripe peach, pink grapefruit and summer berries on the palate. The wine has a silky, creamy, supple body with a surprising hint of minerality. Lively and refreshing, it has the depth and structure to pair well with food.

The key elements in the production of Conte Lemár:

The cooled and preselected grapes arrive to the winery and are processed onto a selection table where all kind of unripe or overripe fruits are removed. The cold and clean grapes are move immediately into the press and reach the stainless-steel tanks for the cool maceration.  During the fermentation the wine receives several times a week a gentle “Bâtonnage”. Approximately in March the wine is bottled and ready for the market.

Cannonau (also known as Grenache, Garnacha and Garnatxa) is Sardinia’s signature red grape. Low in tannins, it produces subtle, fruity wines. The largest winegrowing area on the island is given over to the production of white Vermentino. This delightful wine has a characteristic delicate aroma and fruity, fresh taste.
